Waste and recycling firm joins Washington-based trade association.

Veolia ES Solid Waste Inc., Lombard, Ill., has become the newest corporate member of the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA).

Washington-based NSWMA describes itself as an association that promotes “the management of waste in a manner that is environmentally responsible, efficient, ethical and sustainable, while benefiting the public and protecting employees.”

“NSWMA is excited to have Veolia Environmental Services as a new member,” says Bruce Parker, president and CEO of the association. “Veolia is one of the most progressive environmental services companies in the U.S. and we look forward to working with Richard Burke and his team in building a stronger industry presence in the states and on Capitol Hill.”
