According to Len Beusse, COO of Vecoplan, “We’ve been a fan, sponsor and friend of Harrison Rhodes for several years now. In addition to being an up-and-coming driver, he’s also a young man of Christian character and integrity. Harrison introduced us to Johnny Davis and his team at JD Motorsports. One of the things they emphasize is reinvesting their earnings back into the technology needed to be a top racing team. That matches our philosophy here at Vecoplan exactly. We see this race as not only a great promotional opportunity for Vecoplan, but also a chance to align ourselves with people who hold the same values as we do.”
Rhodes observes, “I know from visiting with them that they are absolutely committed to designing and building the most technologically advanced shredders and systems for recycling, recovering recyclables from waste and turning the waste residuals into a fuel.”
Vecoplan specializes in the design and manufacture of machinery and systems for shredding and recycling. The company also installs the systems and provides start-up training as well as ongoing parts and service for individual machines and complete systems used to shred plastics, wood, paper, tires, medical waste and other materials.
The company also focuses on designing mechanical technologies for processing biomass, municipal solid waste and other wastes into biofuel and bioenergy feedstock. Capabilities include unloading of raw feed-stocks, preshredding, ferrous separation, conveying, screening, air classification, re-shredding, nonferrous separation, optical separation, testing stations, storage and metered feeding to the boiler, to the pelletizing machinery, to the liquid fuel conversion system, or to other waste conversion technologies.
