Vecoplan LLC Launches Affiliate Company

Vecoplan LLC, a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial shredding and grinding equipment, has announced the opening of Vecoplan Midwest LLC.

Based in Floyds Knobs, Ind., Vecoplan Midwest serves as the sales and distribution arm for Vecoplan equipment in a five-state area, which is a key trading area for Vecoplan, according to a press release from the company. Technical service capabilities will be added in the near future.

“Vecoplan is fortunate enough to have teamed up with industry pros in the venture,” Len Beusse, COO of Vecoplan LLC, says. Bill Miller serves as COO for Vecoplan Midwest, Ron King serves as the company’s V.P. of sales, and Kathy Harbeson serves as the company’s office manager.

Vecoplan Midwest is responsible for parts of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Illinois.

“With our capabilities and experience in many segments of the wood, plastics and paper recycling markets, we plan to hit the ground running,” Miller says. “In fact, since opening our doors two months ago, we’ve already sold four systems. Customers and prospective customers can have the peace of mind that Vecoplan is now in their back yard.” 

Vecoplan Midwest will soon complete the installation of a state-of-the-art demonstration and testing lab. Customers in the region will be able to bring in their materials for shredding, recycling or destruction to the test facility and see the equipment process their material as well as determine throughput and particle consistencies.
