Vecoplan LLC, a Archdale, North Carolina-based supplier of size reduction technologies, has added Luke James as its newest sales manager. He will primarily be responsible for sales and business development of the company’s shred trucks for the document destruction and paper recycling industries. He also will act as a liaison between customers and Vecoplan’s R&D engineering team in developing ongoing shred truck innovations and improvements. As innovations are implemented, James will collaborate with Vecoplan’s marketing department to introduce these advances to the marketplace.
Prior to joining Vecoplan, James was a senior technical recruiter with Synerfac Technical Staffing in High Point, North Carolina. While earning his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from East Carolina University, he worked two summer internships at Vecoplan in manufacturing and marketing.
“Our goal is to make the market aware of the many advantages unique to our technologies and machinery,” says Bob Gilmore, chief sales officer at Vecoplan LLC. “When Luke was an intern at Vecoplan, I was impressed by his work ethic. That work ethic combined with the experience he gained while building our shred trucks and other machines will make him a great asset to our team.”
