Rotary grinders manufacturer Vecoplan LLC has dedicated its new 24-acre North American corporate headquarters in Archdale, N.C. The company held a grand opening event in late April that was attended by more than 100 Vecoplan employees, dealers, customers, allies and media representatives from the North America and Europe.
Grand opening attendees received a tour of the 30,000 sq. ft. facility, which houses manufacturing, service, inventory parts, warehouse, and Vecoplan’s new test grinding lab with live Web-cam broadcast capabilities.
“Our new facility allows us to bring sales, manufacturing and service under one roof with more room immediately plus room for future expansion,” says Len Beusse, chief operating officer of Vecoplan.
The new facility “enables us to provide an even higher level of customer service before, during and after the sale,” adds Marty Kennedy, Vecoplan executive vice president.
Attendees at the grand opening also got an advance look at several innovations Vecoplan will be officially unveiling in the coming months. The all-day event concluded with an outdoor barbecue and party on the company’s grounds complete with a Bluegrass band.Latest from Recycling Today
