Gilmore’s responsibilities as CSO will include the supervision of all internal and external sales staff as well as to oversee the expansion of Vecoplan’s markets.
As Vecoplan’s managing director, Gilmore also will join Len Beusse, the company’s managing director/chief operating officer, on the company’s strategic planning team, which is charged with positioning the company for sustainable, long-term growth.
Vecoplan made the move in conjunction with a decision made by Marty Kennedy, a founding member of the equipment company, to retire. Kennedy, formerly executive vice president, was responsible for overseeing sales at the company. He will continue working with Vecoplan in a consulting capacity during the transition.
Gilmore’s background includes his position as vice president and general manager of GAI Recycling, a privately held plastics brokering company.
Gilmore, with more than 28 years of experience in both sales and management, joined Vecoplan in 1998 as a sales executive and was named director of business development.
