Germany-based Vecoplan AG, a manufacturer of industrial and mobile shredding equipment and recycling systems, has named Ina Hannen chief financial officer. She is responsible for finance, control and information technology (IT). She will work with Werner Berens, a board member and CEO of the Vecoplan Group since 2012.

Vecoplan says Ina Hannen succeeds Michael Lambert, who has been a member of the company since 2014. Lambert was responsible for commercial operations and managed Vecoplan AG’s European subsidiaries. Together with Werner Berens, he served on the management board since 2019.

During this period, the Vecoplan Group was reorganized for the future. In 2021 the company says it posted the highest level of incoming orders and highest earnings in its history.

Hannen has a degree in economics and more than 30 years of experience in management. She began her career with the auditing and consultancy company KPMG Deutsche Treuhand in Frankfurt and Chicago. In 2000, she was appointed department head at Also Germany, formerly Actebis, a distributor of IT and telecommunications products. For six years, she was head of accounting and taxation at Klöckner Pentaplast, a plastics manufacturer and for 10 years, she was vice president for finance and financial operations with KP Germany Erste GmbH.

Later she served as commercial director at Baettr Holding GmbH, a manufacturer of onshore and offshore turbine components for the wind energy industry.

Before coming to Vecoplan AG, Hannen was commercial director at Kabel Premium Pulp & Paper GmbH.
