Van Dyk Recycling Solutions (VDRS), Stamford, Connecticut, says it has contributed $5,000 to the Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF) Annual Charitable Auction, which support the EREF Scholarship Program.
The auction began Tuesday, April 24, at 10 a.m. and concluded Wednesday, April 25, at 3:30 pm at WasteExpo 2018, which was April 24-26 in Las Vegas.
EREF’s scholarships are awarded to masters and doctoral students in the fields of waste management research and education.
VDRS says it is proud to help recognize excellence in these fields with its donation.
VDRS Executive Vice President Erik van Dijk presented a ceremonial check to Jim Dowland, chairman of the EREF board of directors, and Bryan Staley, EREF president and CEO, in Las Vegas.
