Van Dyk Baler Corp. completed the installation of its first Bollegraaf single stream system in Canada. The system has been installed at International Paper Industries’ Winnipeg, Alberta, facility.
IPI, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, has incorporated a Lubo OCC Starscreen, a double deck ONP and French Banana Starscreen with air and Glassbreaker Starscreen. The system is processing more than 40,000 metric tons per year of recyclables from Winnipeg’s residential recycling program.
The newly installed system replaces a two stream sort at the curb system.
