Van Dyk Baler Corp. recently sold a used Bollegraaf HBC-50 baler to Cleanscape, a Providence, R.I.-based recycling and urban landscaping company. Cleanscape was formed in 1999 by the South Providence Development Corp. to create opportunities in the South Providence area.
Cleanscape serves about 100 customers, including area medical centers, offices, government agencies, industrial/commercial facilities, and retail/hospitality locations.
The facility recycles about 25 different materials, including fiber, metals, plastics, and computers. Cleanscape uses the HBC-50 to process approximately 300 tons of recyclables per month.
