The installation was finished at the end of 2007 and has been running with an increase in throughput and automatic separation, according to a press release issued by Van Dyk Baler Corp.
“The installation resulted in zero downtime, and we were able to continue to process the material due to a temporary setup by Van Dyk Baler Corp.,” Marcel Lussier, MRF business manager, says. “We have a much higher OCC concentration than other MRFs. After the new system was turned on, it worked exactly as we wanted it to, and we met our target; which was higher quality material.”
