The Recycled Materials Association (ReMA), Washington, has announced that Valis is the inaugural sponsor of ReMA’s Women in Recycling (WIR) Council through March 2027.

Valis has provided material analysis and software solutions for the recycled materials industry since 2022.

“The recycled materials industry is strongest when we elevate diverse voices and provide a platform for excellence,” says ReMA President Robin Wiener. “Valis has been a vital part of the ReMA community since 2022, and it is fitting that they are our first official Women in Recycling Council sponsor. Women play an indispensable role in every facet of the recycled materials supply chain. We look forward to exploring the opportunities this sponsorship will provide.”

As part of the company’s 2026 Women in Recycling Council sponsorship, the upcoming Women in Recycling Reception at ReMA2026 – The Show, April 13-16 in Las Vegas, will be presented by Valis. The title and branding of the reception, to be held at Border Grille at Mandalay Bay Wednesday, April 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. local time, will be used throughout all official convention communications.

ReMA says the sponsorship represents the association's and Valis' commitments to increasing visibility of women in the recycled materials industry and highlighting opportunities.

“Since first joining ReMA in 2022, the Women in Recycling Council has been an immeasurable source of mentorship, support and inspiration,” says Valis co-founder and CEO Emily Molstad. “Having spent my entire career at the intersection of multiple traditionally male-dominated fields, it is encouraging to be a part of an organization that prioritizes advancement opportunities for women. ReMA and WIR have played a core role in Valis’ growth; we’re honored to be giving back and sponsoring upcoming events that bring together all voices in the industry.”

Valis also will host and sponsor an additional reception presented by ReMA’s WIR Council at the ReMA Roundtables in September in Chicago.
