The U.S. Shredder and Castings Group, Miramar Beach, Florida, has hired Troy Brown as its new field superintendent. Brown will oversee the company’s equipment installations, light fabrication and shredder castings warehouse at U.S. Shredder’s Lake City, South Carolina, location.
“In the past we had relied on contractors to oversee the installation of many of our projects, but in the last couple of years turnkey projects have been a growing part of our business,” says company President Bill Tigner. “We needed someone to manage these projects internally. Troy brings a unique set of skills to the company.”
The Lake City location where Brown will be based already has the capability for light fabrication, is a castings warehouse and also is the base of operations for a sister company, A Fines Solutions, which provides nonferrous equipment to operations with a profit sharing model.
The U.S. Shredder and Castings Group offers scrap shredders, control systems, downstream
systems, nonferrous recovery equipment, air systems, shredder castings, service, engineering, construction and installation to the scrap industry worldwide.
