The US Shredder and Castings Group, Trussville, Ala., says it is now offering “Wire-Less” RF Remote Push Button Stations for its shredder downstream systems.
“As our company developed system upgrades, especially for nonferrous applications, we looked for efficient, cost-effective ways to install them, as well as operational advantages,” says US Shredder president Bill Tigner.
The RF Stations, the company’s latest addition to its shredder control systems, can be mounted anywhere without the need for extensive wiring, according to the company. “Typical savings on electrical installations of nonferrous upgrades is conservatively $20,000,” says the company.
The US Shredder and Castings Group offers scrap shredders, control systems, downstream and nonferrous recovery systems, air systems, scrap shears, balers, and loggers; as well as shredder castings, service and consulting on a global basis.
