The U.S. Shredder and Castings Group, Trussville, Ala., has introduced a line of modular and prefabricated light burden conveyors for nonferrous systems. According to U.S. Shredder, the conveyors are shipped complete and ready to run as low profile units in 24-inch and 36-inch wide widths. The conveyors are built in standard 5-foot and 10-foot increments in length and can be adjusted easily with only a belt change required.
According to a release, the conveyors are ideal for new systems where the plan is to add equipment in the future or for the many nonferrous “retrofit” systems supplied by the company.
The US Shredder and Castings Group offers scrap shredders, control systems, downstream systems, nonferrous recovery, air systems, scrap shears, balers, and loggers; as well as shredder castings, service, engineering and consulting to the worldwide scrap industry.
