US Shredder Delivers Downstream System To Kentucky Scrap Recycler

The US Shredder and Castings Group, Trussville, Ala., has delivered a shredder downstream package and heavy duty shredder infeed conveyor to Mid-State Recycling in Glasgow, Ky.

Designed to process material from a previously purchased shredder, the system was built for optimal cleanliness while leaving opportunities for upgrades in the future, Mid-State Recycling says.

According to US Shredder President Bill Tigner, “We designed this system to meet the customer’s current needs while incorporating features that will allow cost effective upgrades in the future. For instance, we can achieve his current requirements without an air system, but we placed the foundation in the system to add air in the future without any foundation changes and minimal downtime.”  

The US Shredder and Castings Group offers scrap downstream systems, nonferrous recovery, air systems, scrap shears, balers, and loggers as well shredder castings, service and consulting to the North and Central America scrap industry.
