The US Shredder and Castings Group, Trussville, Ala., has announced that its 4th Annual “Castings for a Cure” campaign is set to begin. During the month of October a portion of all the company’s castings sales will be donated to organizations that support breast cancer research.
The donations will be contributed in honor of US Shredder President Bill Tigner’s wife, Carla, a breast cancer survivor. According to Tigner, “Once again, we are extremely honored to be able to continue the fight against breast cancer with the help of our customers for a fourth year. We are fortunate that we have three survivors in our family; a result of God’s blessings and remarkable research programs.”
The US Shredder and Castings Group offers scrap shredders, control systems, downstream
systems, nonferrous recovery, air systems, scrap shears, balers and loggers, as well as shredder
castings, service, engineering, construction and installation to the global scrap industry. Those seeking more information about the company can contact Bill Tigner at bill.tigner@usshredder.com.
