The U.S. Shredder and Castings Group, Trussville, Ala., has hired Ryan Bass as a project manager for the U.S. Southeast. Bass previously served as a sales representative for Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Vulcan Materials Co.
In his new position, Bass, who will be based in Nashville, Tenn., will join other field project managers in supporting the company’s casting and equipment sales as well as installation support on shredder and downstream projects.
“Ryan’s experience with ‘in the field, hands-on’ style customer service and sales is a great fit for the philosophy of U.S Shredder,” says Bill Tigner, president of U.S. Shredder. “Our project managers work side by side with our customers to sustain the most profitable shredding systems with the least amount of downtime.”
The U.S. Shredder and Castings Group offers scrap shredders, control systems, downstream systems, nonferrous recovery, air systems, scrap shears, balers and loggers as well as shredder castings, service, engineering and consulting to the worldwide scrap industry.
