US Shredder and Castings Group Adds VP

US Shredder and Castings Group, Brookhaven, Miss., has announced the promotion of Barry Sheppard to the position of vice president of aftermarket sales.

Sheppard, who served as the company’s East Coat regional manager prior to the promotion, is responsible for overseeing the company’s shredder castings and wear parts sales for North and Central America.

“Our continuous success and growth in the castings and wear parts business meant that we needed someone to devote all of his efforts in support of the aftermarket business,” Bill Tigner, president of US Shredder says. “Barry has not only been a proven leader in sales for us, but brings management and logistics experience to the position as well.”

Prior to joining U.S. Shredder in the summer of 2006, Sheppard was the East Coast regional manager for Metso Texas Shredder. He also serviced in the U.S. Army’s Special Forces as a Green Beret.
