US Shredder and Castings Group Adds “Clear View” Camera System

Camera allows operator a "clear view" of the infeed chute.

The US Shredder and Castings Group, based in Brookhaven, Miss., has announced its release of the Clear-View Infrared Shredder Camera System.

“The system is a high-quality, affordable process that allows a shredder operator to have a ‘clear view’ of the infeed chute by cutting through the steam and smoke generated from shredding scrap,” according to a press release from US Shredder.

“US Shredder is constantly looking for new technologies to provide our customers a more efficient scrap operation,” US Shredder President Bill Tigner says. He adds that the technology has been used successfully in similar applications.

The system comes complete with protective casing, camera, LCD monitor and all the cables and connections needed. While installation is simple, US Shredder does provides installation if requested.

The US Shredder and Castings Group offers complete scrap shredding systems as well castings, service and consulting to the North and Central American scrap industry.
