U-Pull-&-Pay Makes Acquisitions

U-Pull-&-Pay (UPAP), wholly owned by Cincinnati-based metals recycling company David J. Joseph (DJJ), has purchased the assets and businesses of two self-serve used auto parts stores: Pic-A-Part LLC, located in Indianapolis, and Pull-A-Part Self-Serv Auto & Truck Parts LLC, Phoenix.

The Indianapolis and Phoenix locations have been operating under current ownership since 2007 and 2004, respectively.

UPAP says it will operate the newly acquired stores under the existing names during a transition period.
The Indianapolis store has more than 1,500 used cars and trucks in stock. The Phoenix store has more than 2,500 vehicles on site. Both auto parts stores are self service operations.

The addition of these two stores brings the total number of UPAP stores to nine. U-Pull-&-Pay also operates stores in Albuquerque, N.M.; Aurora, Colorado Springs and Denver, Colo.; Cincinnati; and Orlando and West Palm Beach, Fla.
