Spokane, Wash.-based ShredSupply has partnered with UNTHA Shredding Technology America Inc. (UNTHA America), based in Hampton, N.H., to offer the “Data Annihilator.”
The Data Annihilator combines ShredSupply’s experience in mobile shredding equipment with UNTHA’s RS30 four-shaft shredder to bring “an improved level of performance and reliability to the rapidly expanding on-site data and media destruction market,” according to the companies.
The Data Annihilator is available in multiple configurations, power options and various chassis.
UNTHA has more than 8,000 shredders in operation worldwide. Its RS30 four-shaft shredder is capable of destroying hard drives, CDs, DVDs and tapes as well as light electronics, including cell phones, PDAs and laptop computers, according to UNTHA. The shredder features a built-in screen that allows the operator to vary the particle size to meet client security requirements.
ShredSupply President Rocky Rajewski says, “UNTHA was the natural choice for our mobile media shredding truck because the RS30 is the most powerful shredder available for this application. It has proven to be the most efficient, reliable hard drive/media shredder on the market today.”
ShredSupply offers refurbished mobile shredding equipment, re-manufactured original equipment parts, shred truck rentals, chassis and shredder service. The company has customer service locations in Spokane and in Fort Worth, Texas.
Bernhard Mueggler, CEO of UNTHA America, adds, “We have seen a significant growth in demand for a shred truck capable of serious hard drive shredding, and we are very happy to be able to team up with an industry leader like ShredSupply. They are extremely customer focused and innovative. We believe that UNTHA and ShredSupply make a great team.”
UNTHA America supports UNTHA customers with sales, spare parts and factory service throughout the U.S. and Canada.
