UNTHA America Inc., headquartered in Hampton, N.H., has named Franz Sunkler its new application engineer and customer service manager. He will work from UNTHA America’s Hampton offices. Sunkler joined UNTHA in 2008 and previously served as customer service manager at the company’s corporate headquarters.
UNTHA America is a division of the Austrian-based UNTHA GmbH. The company provides size-reduction equipment for the recycling industry.
In his new position, Sunkler will provide maintenance support, technical support and assistance with upgrades and servicing. As UNTHA Americas’ Sunkler applications engineer, Sunkler will work with the company’s sales team.
“All of our products are tailor-made to a client’s particular needs,” says Bernhard Mueggler, president and CEO of UNTHA America. “With his engineering background, Franz will be able to aid potential clients in specifying the types of machine modifications they require.”
He continues, “With Franz joining us, we at UNTHA America can now handle most client inquiries in house without having to consult with our Austrian staff. His expertise will be invaluable in expediting the sales process.”
Sunkler says, “I am looking forward to my expanded role. Whether I am helping clients develop a new machine to fit their company’s needs or answering questions about an existing model, I enjoy working with customers and helping solve their problems.”
