Universal Stainless Adds VP

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc., Bridgeville, Pa., has named Richard J. Hack as its vice president of sales and marketing.

Hack has more than 25 years of steel industry experience, with a background in manufacturing as well as extensive sales and marketing expertise in the specialty steel segment, according to the company.

Most recently he served as manager of sales and marketing for Bar and Custom Forged Products at Scot Forge Company in Spring Grove, Ill. Hack has also held sales and management positions with Avesta Sheffield and Jessop Steel Co.

“Rick Hack is an important addition to the Universal Stainless management team,” says president and CEO Mac McAninch. “His knowledge and experience complement our current business focus and will enable us to pursue new opportunities to further grow our company,” adds McAninch.

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc. manufactures and markets a line of semi-finished and finished specialty steels, including stainless steel, tool steel and other alloyed steels. The company’s products are sold to re-rollers, forgers, service centers, original equipment manufacturers and wire re-drawers.
