The U.S. Plastics Pact (USPP), Walpole, New Hampshire, has announced that Jonathan Quinn, who was appointed as the organization’s president and CEO in July 2024, will no longer serve in this position.
Crystal Bayliss will lead the USPP as interim executive director. The USPP board thanked Quinn for his leadership in a statement, wishing him well in his future endeavors.
Bayliss has served as USPP director of strategy and engagement since 2023. The organization says she has worked in plastic packaging and sustainability roles for nearly two decades and previously participated in the USPP as an activator.
USPP has no comment on Quinn’s departure beyond what’s provided in its statement.
The organization says its mission, priorities and work will continue without interruption. Roadmap 2.0, an actionable plan designed to transform the use of plastics, continues to guide the organization’s efforts with staff and partners convening stakeholders, advancing solutions and driving progress across the plastics value chain.
USPP recently released its 2024-25 Impact Report, detailing continued progress toward a more circular plastics system in the United States.
