Federal Prison Industries, Inc. has opened its newest electronic waste collection center in Englewood, Colorado. The new facility is the first UNICOR collection center in the United States. The company’s other operations are located in Florida, Georgia, Oregon and Maryland.
The company also announced that it has opened its 8th Electronic Waste Recycling Facility in Leavenworth, Kansas. The Kansas plant adds to UNICOR's facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Texas, Arizona and California.
