Aylesford Newsprint, a large, UK-based newsprint producer, has singed a cocntract with the city and county of Swansea, UK to design and build a facility for storing the newspapers and magazines collected from the municipality’s curbside and drop-off programs. The material will be supplied to Aylesford for the next four years.
The facility will become the property of the city and county of Swansea at the end of the four-year contract.
Chris White, Aylesford’s commercial manager, said, “We are very pleased to be helping Swansea in such a way. The new facility will be a specific building for storing newspapers and magazines, which is great news for us as it will ensure the quality of the supplied material.”
