Easco Group, a metals recycling company based in the United Kingdom, has purchased S B Wheeler and Sons Ltd in a move that strengthens its position as one of the UK's leading metals processors.

The acquisition will enable Easco to provide more localized services to its customers across the south and east of England, increasing the company's total number of metal recycling plants in the UK to 13. In addition to its existing sites in the midlands, north and east of England, it will now also have sites in Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
"The purchase of S B Wheeler is strategically an important acquisition for us," said Andre Serruys, group managing director at Easco. "It enables us to expand our business further, increase operational efficiency across the south of the country and further improve the services we provide to our customers in that region."
"This acquisition forms part of an on-going program of growth and development for Easco," continued Serruys. "We have a multi-million pound investment strategy planned to ensure that the company maintains its position as one of the UK's leading recycling companies."
