The machine can process stainless steel and nonferrous metals with a production rate of more than 25 tons per hour, according to a press release issued by U.S. Shredder.
The sorters can be fed using a belt or a cost-effective slide operation. Available in a variety of widths, the metal sensors provide simple integration into an existing plant.
U.S. Shredder President Bill Tigner says the EcoSort uses the latest sensor technologies, offers low air consumption and feature dust-proof modules and cabins. “The unique modular and compact design of the system makes the sensors affordable and easy to install,” he adds.
“Many of our customers are interested in this system for ‘mining’ operations of fluff stockpiles,” Tigner says.
Toratec offers a variety of stainless steel and other metals sorting machines. More information is available at www.toratec.com.
