U-Pull-&-Pay, a company wholly owned by The David J. Joseph Co., has purchased the assets and business of Action Auto and Aurora Used Auto Parts. Both companies, owned by John Frink, have been in operation since 1983, and are located in Aurora, Colorado.
U-Pull-&-Pay will eventually change the names of both facilities to U-Pull-&-Pay, but will use the Action Auto Wrecking and Aurora Used Auto Parts names during a transition period.
The facilities span 19 acres and hold around 1,350 automobiles.
Frink will continue to manage the Aurora stores, and will help in developing new Denver area stores.
U-Pull-&-Pay currently operates four other self-service used auto parts stores: in West Palm Beach, Orlando, Cincinnati, and Albuquerque. UPAP plans to establish a network of stores through the construction of new facilities and the acquisition of existing self-service stores across the country.
