TMS International Corp., the parent company of Tube City IMS Corp., has named Dai Moriya sales and general manager—Latin American Division. TMS International, based in Pittsburgh, provides outsourced industrial services to steel mills throughout the world.
“Dai will be working with the company’s raw material and optimization group to generate new business opportunities and help expand the growth of the company’s global trading operations,” says J. David Aronson, Tube City IMS’ president and COO, raw material and optimization group.
Prior to joining TMS International, Moriya worked in a variety of positions with Sojitz Corp., most recently as director of sales where he was responsible for marketing operations for raw materials for iron and steel around the globe. He also helped expand networks, markets and customers in Asia, Middle East/Africa and Central and South America.
“Dai has a strong track record of success and a wealth of knowledge in the international marketplace. His experience in the global trading industry is a tremendous asset to the company as we continue to expand globally. We are pleased to welcome him to the team,” Aronson adds.
