The board of directors of Pittsburgh-based TMS International Corp., the parent company of Tube City IMS Corp., has elected Leon Heller (right) as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective Jan. 1, 2013. Heller had formerly served as senior vice president, general counsel and assistant secretary of the company’s Mill Services Group.
Heller will succeed Thomas Lippard, who is retiring from the company. Lippard had been executive vice president, general counsel and secretary since 1997.
Heller joined TMS in 1991 and was promoted to his senior Mill Services Group positions in 2004.
“The board of directors is delighted to announce Leon’s promotion,” says Raymond Kalouche, TMS president and CEO-elect. “Leon brings to the role a comprehensive knowledge of our business, and I know we can count on his leadership, supported by a strong and experienced senior management team.”
