TrynEx International’s Big Move

Michigan manufacturer moves to new plant for more space.

TrynEx International, the Madison Heights, Mich.-based manufacturer of SnowEx, TurfEx and SweepEx product lines, has moved into a new plant in the same city. According to TrynEx, the company chose the new location because it would allow for future expansion and a new manufacturing system through a partnership with the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC).

The new building is 130,000 square feet and contains multiple new features designed to improve the assembly and shipping processes. These include manufacturing lines, ergonomic tooling, and a pick-and-pack order fulfillment system. Furthermore, the building includes a training center for staging corporate meetings and forums to host visiting dealers and OEMs.

“Through the new facility and our involvement with MMTC, we’ve invested heavily in the future of our distributors, dealers, OEMs, customers and employees,” Bern Buczek, marketing director for TrynEx, says. “We’re also positioning ourselves as a premier manufacturer in the state of Michigan.”

TrynEx started as a lawn and landscape contractor more than 30 years ago and began developing its own line of innovative equipment. This approach led to growth, as this is the second time the company has moved to a larger plant since its inception. Today, TrynEx’s line of equipment includes SnowEx innovative products for the snow and ice industry, TurfEx precision products for lawn, golf and turf care, and SweepEx commercial and industrial sweeping solutions.
