The equipment company TRIA America, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, has introduced the TF Series grinder, which is dedicated to inline thermoforming scrap of most polymer types. The grinders can handle a full range of production scrap, including skeletal scrap, full sheets up to 48-inches wide and sheets with cups and lids up to 4 inches in height.
The TF Series line includes six machines with varying feed opening lengths and rotor sizes that can produce from 400 to 2,000 pounds per hour. TRIA America also says it has reducing noise levels with its new line of grinders.
In light of the smaller footprint and a choice of sheet infeed devices, TRIA says the TF series grinders can be adapted easily to all types of thermoforming lines.
Since 1954, TRIA has specialized in designing and manufacturing rotary knife granulators and grinding systems.
