Tri-R Recycling, Denver, has purchased assets of the Denver recycling center formerly run by Republic Fiber and Republic Paperboard LLC. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We jumped at the chance when Republic approached us,” Tri-R chairman David Powelson says of the purchase. “The opportunity to acquire such a quality business is rare in our industry. Their employees and customers are excellent.”
Tri-R, in business in Denver since 1977, is a paper recycling company that also offers mobile document destruction services, equipment sales, paper brokerage and consulting services.
