The BT Levio powered pallet truck and Toyota Traigo 48 electric counterbalanced forklift from Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) are part of the iF Product Design Award 2009 exhibition at the Hannover exhibition center.

Opened to the public free of charge, the iF Product Design Award 2009 exhibition opened on March 3 and is scheduled to remain in place until August 2009.
The BT Levio and Toyota Traigo 48 are also part of the iF online exhibition at http://www.ifdesign.de.
The BT Levio powered pallet truck range consists of five ‘walkie’ models with load capacities from 3,086 to 5,511 pounds. The Toyota Traigo 48 is
“Customer requirements influenced the entire design and development process for BT Levio and Toyota Traigo 48,” said Jonas Tornerefelt, TMHE vice president product planning. “Attention to detail is a trademark of our Toyota Production System approach. Receiving the iF Product Design Award for BT Levio and Toyota Traigo 48 is a milestone achievement for our entire organization.”
