Total Training Services (TTS), the producer of the “Shred School” will be offering a “Shred Your Competition Sales Workshop” June 15-16, 2010 in conjunction with the annual Paper Recycling Conference and Trade Show. TTS, headquartered in Spartanburg, S.C., is a training firm that specializes in sales and marketing strategies, consultative selling and effective operational strategies.
“There has been tremendous interest from destruction companies the past couple of years in regional sales workshops to teach shredding business owners and their sales teams proven strategies to double their profits and revenue” says Ray Barry, president of TTS.
This inaugural event will be held at the same venue and immediately following The Paper Recycling Conference. “By partnering with SDB and Recycling Today magazines to co-locate with their Paper Recycling Conference, and offering a single registration fee for both events, we’ve created a unique opportunity for destruction firms,” Barry adds.
“We’re excited about this new partnership with Total Training Services,” says Recycling Today Media Group Publisher Jim Keefe. “By collaborating to offer both events under a single roof industry participants have a unique opportunity to grow their overall knowledge of the paper recycling markets, an important revenue source, and drive their sales growth with important training.”
The sales workshop will address the following topics:
• Why cold calls suck and what to do instead
• How to sell value, not price
• The 3 best ways to grow your business now
• How to create a sales superstar
• How to handle the price objection
