Top Computer Manufacturers Will Discuss Stewardship at Conference

Representatives from Dell, H-P round out sessions at inaugural conference.

The top environmental executives at the world’s two largest computer producers -- Hewlett-Packard and Dell – will outline where the companies are headed in product stewardship at E-Scrap 2003, the North American Electronics Recycling Conference.  The conference will occur October 22 and 23 in Orlando.

In addition to the presentations by original equipment manufacturers, attendees will learn about product stewardship initiatives in the U.S. and Canada, current recycling technologies, state and local efforts to boost e-scrap collections, and efforts toward the green procurement of electronics.  The conference closes with an assessment of market trends by six e-scrap reclaimers and end users.

In addition to informative sessions, E-Scrap 2003 features a sold-out exhibit hall featuring displays by equipment producers, technology vendors and e-scrap reclaimers.
