Tomra has announced that it has received a large contract to supply reverse vending machines in Germany.
Tomra designs and operates systems that allow for the return of used beverage containers for either reuse or recycling. The company is headquartered in Norway, although it has offices throughout the world.
The retailer has chosen Tomra as its supplier of reverse vending machine systems for non-refillable beverage containers in Germany. The company will supply 4,000 new machines, which will be delivered by the second half of this year.
