According to an agreement between Bunting Magnetics Co., Newton, Kan., and Steele Plastic Equipment, Marysville, Mich., Todd Steele has become the exclusive representative in the state of Michigan for Bunting products.
Steele, a native of Port Huron, Mich., will represent Bunting Magnetic’s magnetic separation, magnet material, metal detection and material handling product lines.
“Todd brings over 27 years of sales and operational experience to this role,” Robert J. Bunting, president of Bunting Magnetics, says. “It is a tremendous addition to our organization to find someone of Todd’s background in the plastics industry and with material handling equipment.”
Throughout the last 15 years, Todd has served in sales and management positions with Steele Plastic Equipment. Primarily focused on the plastics industry, these efforts have dealt with many applications from bulk loading to injection molding. In previous sales positions, Steele has handled various product lines, including material handling, robotics, cavity instrumentation and blow/injection molding equipment.
“It is exciting to begin a relationship with Bunting,” Steele says. “It is a company with its roots in Michigan and has grown tremendously over the last 50 years.
