Lubo USA sister company of Van Dyk Baler Corp. , Stamford, Conn., has installed a second TiTech optical sorter to Waste Management Recycle America’s (WMRA’s) commercial sorting system in Houston.
The current system processes dirty OCC and commercial loads from businesses and office buildings. The original system presorted trash and had an OCC screen for OCC removal. In 2004 a TiTech optical sorter was added to separate mix paper out of the remaining paper and trash residue stream. The latest TiTech addition, matched with a Bollegraaf Acceleration Conveyor, is designed to further separate the paper to remove non-bleachables and brown grades to make sorted office pack (SOP) and complete the system, which can process upwards of 15 tons per hour, according to a press release from Lubo USA.
Van Dyk Baler Corp. is the exclusive North American distributor for Bollegraaf Recycling Machinery, specializing in design, manufacturing and servicing of balers, dual- and single-stream sorting systems and MSW sorting systems.
