Titan Mobile Shredding LLC, with its corporate facility in Pipersville, Pennsylvania, has been certified by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), Phoenix, for the 13th consecutive year. In addition to mobile document destruction, the company’s certifications now include plant-based document destruction, mobile and plant-based media and hard drive destruction and product destruction. The certification is valid through Jan. 31, 2020.
The company received its first annual certification in July 2007, becoming the first mobile document destruction company in eastern Pennsylvania to become NAID AAA Certified.
Under the AAA Certification program, audits are conducted by a certified protection professional (CPP), which is issued by ASIS International to security professionals who meet stringent educational and experience requirements. The annual audit verifies that the document destruction company complies with the standards set forth by NAID regarding the disposal of secure information. Titan Mobile Shredding is also subject to unannounced audits. These are random audits that verify that the company is protecting confidential materials. They are conducted by a trained CPP at the secure destruction facility and in the field.
