The Tirex Corp. announced that a Quebec company, Animat Inc., has ordered Rutex, a recycled rubber produced through Tirex’s patented cryogenic tire recycling technology, TCS-1.
Animat ordered a minimum of 100,000 lbs per month for a 1-year renewable contract to produce 100% recycled rubber mats. "Tirex' increased productivity for Animat", states Tirex President, John L. Threshie Jr., "continues to meet the growing demand for Rutex and will enhance the sales of the TCS technology. Further, Tirex is proud to have Animat as a new customer in the development of recycled rubber products."
Animat is a producer of 100% recycled-content rubber mats for the farm and equestrian industries. The company is expanding their sales throughout North America and Europe and in other markets including sports complexes, arenas and fitness rooms.
