The GBC Group of Florida, Inc. announced that David E. Hill has joined GBC and will serve as chief operating officer. GBC also added Daniel Connolly as director, Specialty Waste Services for GBC. Teri Dailey will head up the brokering division for crumb rubber and related commodities.
Prior to joining GBC, Hill was vice president, Southern Region for GreenMan Technologies a tire recycler. He also worked with Casella Waste as president of its Energy Division, and at KTI, Inc. as senior VP and COO.
Connolly recently headed up Specialty Waste Corp., an environmental management company. Earlier he worked in technical management positions at Onyx Environmental; Onyx specialty Waste Services: Ogden Waste treatment Services (now Covanta Secure Services).
GBC provides engineering; operations and business planning and optimization; materials acquisition and brokering; specialty waste characterization and destruction services; due diligence and feasibility study services; and Overview management to a broad spectrum of clients in the tire recycling, waste-to-energy, tires-to-energy and waste management industries.
