Three men, including a customs official, died earlier this week when they entered the hold of a vessel that was shipping scrap metal to a steel mill.
According to press reports, the three entered an area that had insufficient amount of oxygen.
The ship had docked at the Port of Gramercy in Louisiana to make a delivery to Bayou Steel Corp. The vessel had come from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.Latest from Recycling Today
