Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. will be demonstrating its newest handheld XRF analyzer, the Niton XL2 Series, during the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries’ (ISRI) annual convention, May 5-7 in San Diego.
Niton analyzers provide low-detection limits for tramp and trace element analysis.
“These alloy analyzers allow users to perform more than 1,000 readings in an 8-hour shift -- from trace levels to pure metals and everything in between,” says Bob Wopperer, director of marketing and business for Thermo Scientific Niton Analyzers.
The analyzers come standard with Thermo Scientific’s Niton Data Transfer (NDT) software. The NDT file format preserves and protects the data from each sample analysis. The company says Niton XL2 analyzers are lightweight, incorporate customizable menus for ease of use, have multi-language options and feature a standard analytical range of more than 25 elements
