The Kraft Group, headquartered in Boston, acquired the assets of the United Paper Stock, a Pawtucket, RI, paper recycling operation.
The Kraft Group has interests in paper & packaging industry. The division includes the Rand-Whitney Containerboard Mill in Montville, Ct.; Rand-Whitney Container Corp. headquarters in Worcester, Mass.; and International Forest Products Corporation, one of the world’s largest pulp and paper trading companies, located in Foxboro, Mass.

It is a New England Company with an excellent reputation for providing quality products and services to its customer base. We look forward to further integrating our Rand-Whitney Mill and growing our export position with the output from this facility,” said Dan Kraft, executive vice president of the Kraft Group and President of International Forest Products.
The former owners of United Paper Stock will continue to work with the company. Tim Hays will serve as vice president of procurement at Kraft Recycling. Shim Silverstein will work for the company’s export operation, International Forest Products Corp. as director of secondary fiber sourcing.
