During PSI’s fall convention, Stan Litman was recognized posthumously with the Phil Alpert Award, given to an individual who has at least ten years of leadership in the paper stock industry and has demonstrated strong interest in the welfare of the paper stock industry.
Accepting the award were Stan’s widow, Lenore. Also represented were his son Joel and his wife, Susie, as well as Joel’s daughter Hillary.
“While he didn’t get into the business until he was 50 he felt that PSI was for everyone, and everyone should belong, Joel says. “He was a great ambassador for the association. He was very proud of PSI, and the professionalism of the organization.
Stan Litman is the third recipient of the award. The other two people receiving the recognition were Johnny Gold, The Newark Group; and Nini Krever, Traders International.
