Terex Pegson and Powerscreen have introduced new crushing and screening equipment.
The equipment was debuted at the Open Days demonstrations held May 11-12 at one Potomac Landfill and two Ennstone job sites in Fredericksburg and Dumfries, Va., near Washington, DC.
The manufacturers demonstrated a number of pieces of new equipment including:
- The Powerscreen Warrior Radial screening, three-way splitting and stockpiling machine. It features a hydraulic raise/lower screen box for easy maintenance. Removing the side conveyor converts the unit to a two-way split machine with two products on the tail conveyor. A heavy-duty horizontal apron feeder is designed for heavier, more rugged applications.
- The 1100 x 650 Terex Pegson Premiertrak XA400 jaw crusher, which features a hydraulic adjust system that provides for quick machine setting changes with no drawback rod adjustment. It is capable of processing up to 350 tons per hour.
- The Powerscreen Phoenix 2100 trommel. This machine can be set up in five minutes and is designed for recycling, topsoil, wood chipping and compost applications. The 21 foot, 2 inch by 6 foot, 4 inch diameter drum has four panels with five meshes per panel.
- 1000 and 1300 Maxtrak cone crushers with Automax all-in feed.
- 1412 Trakpactor impact crusher.
- Powershredder 2400.
- Orion 1400 trommel.
