Terex Ecotec, with a U.S. location in Newton, New Hampshire, and a U.K. location in Dungannon, has announced that it has expanded U.K.-based Molson Green’s territory to include Scotland. The company currently serves the Midlands, Southern England and South Wales.
Briston, U.K.-based Molson Green has recently struck up an agreement with Young Plant Sales that will see the Stirlingshire, U.K.-based company offer service support across the range of environmental equipment Molson Green offers. In addition, it will offer after-sales service and support to the waste, recycling, demolition, wood processing and forestry industries.
Molson Green has identified the waste and recycling sector in Scotland as a key market with excellent growth potential, Terex Ecotec says, and sees the agreement with Young Plant as a great opportunity for both companies to penetrate the market.
Robin Powell, joint managing director of Molson Group, says, “The tie-in with Young Plant will ensure that the full range of quality equipment that Molson Green offers is available to customers across Scotland. They can now rest assured that the same level of high-quality after-sales service that Molson Green offers in the rest of the country is available to them. We are looking forward to working with Young Plant to help deliver that service.”
The move has triggered specialist plant manufacturers, Terex Ecotec Equipment, to appoint Molson Green as their dealer for Scotland, in addition to the areas they already cover.
Conor Hegarty, international sales director with Terex Ecotec, says, “Since we first appointed Molson Green as dealers for the Midlands, southern England and South Wales in late 2015, our U.K. business has grown extensively. Molson Green have firmly established Terex Ecotec as one of the foremost recycling and environmental equipment brands in the U.K. We are excited at the opportunity within the Scottish market and are confident that Molson Green will establish a similar strong presence for us there too.”
